New Hope Uganda Responds to Kony 2012 Video

New Hope Uganda has published a response to the Invisible Children Kony 2012 video that recently went 'viral' on Facebook. The Kony 2012 video has raised awareness, questions and emotions both in and outside Uganda -- but falls short in scope because stopping Kony now doesn't unwind the harm committed over decades.

New Hope Uganda's Kobwin Centre is ministering to the 'invisible children' that were and continue to be deeply affected by the atrocities committed by the LRA. By His grace, God is transforming the hearts of these young adults through the gospel - the message of salvation, forgiveness, love and reconciliation that alone brings freedom for these children to live again.

Check out the article on New Hope Uganda's web site and the video interview.

Charles is a former abducted child soldier who through the grace of God has chosen to forgive his captors rather than seek revenge. We believe that the weapon that will change the issue of Kony and the many children affected by his atrocities is the releasing power of forgiveness.
